How RideNow's package pricing model works
A RideNow package is a prepaid block of driving time, minutes, hours or a full day, paired with a set kilometre allowance. You pay the package price up front, then a per-kilometre rate only for any distance beyond that allowance. It works alongside RideNow's per-minute model rather than replacing it: short, unplanned trips suit per-minute, while a package suits a longer trip where you have a rough idea how long you'll need the car.
Every package rate includes the same essentials as per-minute driving: fuel, VAT, third-party liability and CDW Basic Protection. Drivers under 25 pay a higher premium on that protection, the same age-based rule that applies across RideNow's pricing. What happens when your package runs out
The rental automatically switches to the standard per-minute rate the moment your package time expires. You don't need to do anything in the app, you simply start being charged per minute again until you end the trip. The bonus or fee for each route is set by fleet rebalancing, not by anything about you as a driver. If RideNow needs more cars in a particular city, ending your trip there earns a bonus, credited straight to your RideNow account balance for use on future rides, not paid out as cash. If a city already has plenty of cars, ending there triggers a fee instead. That's why it's one figure per route rather than a bonus system and a fee system running side by side.
