Our Story: Shaping the Landscape of Mobility in Cyprus
In the 1970s, Mr. Andy Spyrou, with his talent for car sales, laid the foundation for a transformative mobility venture. As the 1980s brought a tourism boom, he seized the opportunity to start a car rental business, embracing innovation and exceptional service.
In the early 90’s, Andy Spyrou Rentals secured the “Europcar” franchise, positioning itself in a favourable position to compete in a globalized and competitive environment.
Stepping into the new millenium the business solidified into it’s current form – ASG (Andy Spyrou Group)- and emerged as a symbol of reliability, excellence, and customer-centricity, which allowed it to become number one in its field.
The business spirit of ASG, rooted in these values, navigated the challenges of the COVID crisis to launch it’s newest ventures.
In 2019, ASG Leasing was created, offering innovative, flexible and cost-effective leasing and fleet management solutions to individuals and businesses.
ASG Cars and RideNow soon followed, with ASG Cars selling technically certified used cars from the Europcar fleet and RideNow meeting the growing demand for flexible mobility as the island's sole car-sharing service.
Today, Europcar Cyprus, ASG Leasing, ASG Cars, and RideNow dominate their respective fields, showcasing adaptability and leadership in the evolving automotive landscape.
